When we bought the house it was in great shape, just not our style. So one of the first things we did was paint the kitchen. I actually didn't mind the cabinets at all. They had recently been updated and so had the counter tops and back splash, but the wall color was just not good. It was yellow, like band-aid yellow. You can see in the pictures below...
I love what a little paint and hard work can do to a space.
The color we chose was "smoke infusion" by Valspar.
I think it opens up the kitchen and gives it an overall calm feeling.
I'm happy with the transformation.
